Our Story
A spontaneous idea that became something more than an office
Behind Workshop are Marta Kolar Senjanović and Luka Cindrić, architects and friends who met working at the renowned Zagreb studio 3LHD. They collaborated for years on shared projects, and were eventually brought together by the idea of opening a joint workspace.
When they found the perfect space just beside Ribnjak park, they realised they could do something more. They began developing the concept — and today Workshop is a hybrid community space for all kinds of gatherings.
Just as Ribnjak was once a popular meeting place, Workshop is guided by the same idea.
Marta & Luka, founders
Morning — coffee
From 8 am to 3 pm, Workshop operates as a specialty coffee place. Espresso, filter coffee, cold brew, matcha, fresh juices,— and even craft beer and Espresso Martini.
Coffee knowledge comes from Vedran at Broom, one of Croatia's leading specialty baristas. Workshop is one of the few places that isn't strictly a coffee shop but puts an exceptional focus on coffee.
Afternoon — creativity
Every day after 3 pm, the space transforms into a zone for workshops, conversations, and panels. Experts and professionals from many fields; cooking, architecture, painting, floristry, and much more.
The idea was never for Workshop to be an all-day coffee place, but for coffee and creativity to coexist — each in its own time of day.
Our Space
Light, simple, and warm
The interior of Workshop is inspired by Ribnjak park itself — open, green, and always welcoming.
"It was hard to say with certainty whether it was a café, a gallery, a studio, or a coworking space — and that is precisely the charm."
